PROJECT FOR THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF THE PERFORMING ARTS
“Crossing the Sea” is an internationalization project for the Italian performing arts, created to establish and consolidate long-term collaborations in both European and non-European regions. The project currently operates through an active partnership across Chile, China, South Korea, Japan, India, Lithuania, Peru, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
The project’s primary objective is to launch an international career development process by fostering networking opportunities and the exchange of best practices.
The project is realized with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture / Boarding Pass Plus grant and is promoted by a network led by Marche Teatro (lead partner), in collaboration with: Mosaico Danza / Festival Interplay, Espacio Checoeslovaquia (Chile); Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center, Shanghai International Dance Center (China); Seoul Institute of the Arts (South Korea); Kinosaki International Art Center, YPAM (Japan); Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts (India); Klaipėda Youth Theatre (Lithuania); Festival Indisciplinados, Alianza Francesa de Lima (Peru); Luca Silvestrini’s Protein (UK); and Teatro Inestable (Spain).
