The company was formed with the aim of staging the project The Window, sharing the common goal of creating a multidisciplinary performance and bringing together the experience gained during years of training at the Accademia d’Arte del Dramma Antico in Syracuse.
The starting point for the development of the project is the world of physical theatre, identified as an ideal means of expression both for addressing an international audience and for the possibility of communicating through images and bodies rather than having to assert meaning through words.
Following the presentation of an initial draft of the work, the need arose to formally establish the company in October 2025 as the APS ALTRI SPAZI. Based in Milan but active throughout the national territory, the company conceives its artistic path as a constant movement between places, encounters, and different communities.
With the aim of refining its languages and developing new skills, the group is currently seeking contexts in which to challenge itself, finding in residencies, festivals, and encounters with other artistic realities a privileged opportunity for listening and experimentation.
Alongside stage creation, the company also pursues an interest in the pedagogical and social dimension of the performing arts, to which it is dedicated through the design of workshops and educational programs.
