I create choreographies as if they were people: they grow, stumble, change mood. I am interested in what comes before and after a gesture, in the unspoken language of the body, and in the silent dialogue with the audience. My heart is pop, my life a continuous soft drama, my irony fragile. My emotional resilience is variable. Offstage, too, I move this way: with urgency and care, paying more attention to cracks than to certainties.
I was born in 1992.
I began my academic studies in Italy and later lived in Los Angeles, Madrid and New York, where I studied contemporary dance, urban languages and improvisation practices, working as a dancer. In 2014, I undertook an internship as an observer with The Forsythe Company, following the restaging of One Flat Thing, reproduced. This experience marked the beginning of my ongoing reflection on perception and on the body as a relational tool in dialogue with space and gaze.
Since 2018, I have been creating works that carry human names, as I consider each creation a living organism that grows, stumbles, and changes identity and direction. My first solo, Pedro (2020/2021), was selected for the Vetrina della giovane danza d’autore 2021. This was followed by Walter (2021/2023), co-produced by Anghiari Dance Hub and Zerogrammi, winner of Danza Urbana XL 2022 and the Dancescapes Mobility Grant 2022. In 2024, I premiered Graziosissimo, supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture and SIAE through the Per Chi Crea programme, and selected for the Vetrina della giovane danza d’autore 2025. In 2025, I began developing Carmela, selected for NID Platform – Open Studios 2025.
Since 2020, I have been collaborating on an ongoing basis with Francesca Rinaldi and Nicolò Giorgini, with whom I share a long-term artistic and performative research path. With Carmela, I have also initiated a broader collaboration with Jessica Russo, Melania Pallini, and musician Tim Van Der Burg, expanding the work towards a collective and interdisciplinary dimension.
