Dewey Dell is an Italian dance company based in Cesena, Berlin and Vilnius. In their works the choreography has a sharp style and a primitive glossary, continuously inspired and nourished by the images of the history of art and of the animals world.
The company is made up of four people, who work as a collective although each one is bringing forward a personal research in his own professional field: Teodora Castellucci is the choreographer, Demetrio Castellucci composes the music, Eugenio Resta designs the sets and lights, Agata Castellucci assists and curates the collective direction and the entire production.
Since 2007 Dewey Dell created à elle vide (2007), KIN KEEN KING (2008), Baldassarre (2009), Cinquanta Urlanti Quaranta Ruggenti Sessanta Stridenti (2010), Grave (2011/12), Marzo (2013) and several live format of live concert and electronic music.
In 2017 Dewey Dell creates Sleep Technique, in collaboration with Massimo Pupillo from musical group Zu for the piece’s soundtrack, and Deriva Traversa, a dance solo with live chorus. In 2018 debuted I am within and I am without.
