Fabritia D’Intino is a dancer and choreographer based in Rome. She graduated from the Accademia Nazionale di Danza (Rome) in 2008 and from ArtEZ (NL) in 2011. In 2011 she starts working as dancer for a Mexican collective and different Italian companies and she begins her research as maker in 2014 with the support of international projects such as Dance Moves Cities (Italy – Latvia – Poland) and Movin’up/GAI (Argentina – Uruguay). Beside her work as artist she curated for 8 years an international platform for exchange between artists based in Spain called BIDE – Barcelona International Dance Exchange. Within BIDE she co-developped methodologies and approaches for artists to exchange practises, materials, research and theories across Europe and America.
In 2017 she wins the Awards In Generazione (Fabbrica Europa) and TU 35 Expanded (Centro Pecci) with her first solo “WANNABE” in collaboration with the musician Federico Scettri.
In 2019 she premiered at the Le Grand Bain Festival in Roubaix (FR) with “PLUBEL”, a quartet created in collaboration with Clémentine Vanlerberghe. Plubel has been selected for Danse Elargie Suite 2019 at Theatre De La Ville (Paris) and Sadler’s Wells (London), Festival OFF d’Avignon at La Manufacture (France) and for the program “Vetrina della giovane danza d’autore” by Network Anticorpi (Italy).
In 2019 she develops the participatory project “MUSEO DOMESTICO” with the support of Demetra and Indisciplinarte (Terni) together with Caterina Moroni and with a final installation/exhibition at Caos Museum (Terni).
In 2020 her work “iWonder” is part of the collective exhibition and event curated by Christopher Matthews “My body is an exhibition” at Sadler’s Wells, in London.
In 2020 she starts with Riccarco Guratti and Giuseppe Vincent Giampino “BOOSTER”, a project for theoretical/practical research on choreography and concept development.
In 2021 her site specific work “Tagadà” together with Daria Greco is selected for Danza Urbana by Network Anticorpi and she develops the participatory online project PUNCTUM, from an idea and together with Salvo Lombardo and with the support of the european network BeSpectActive!
In 2022 she is one of the artists involved in the project BOARDING PASS PLUS, a program by th Italian Ministery of Culture for mobility and internazionalization and she is one of the artists involved in the project MICRO MACRO DRAMATURGIES IN DANCE, a program by Creative Europe for exchange of knowledge and research in the field of dramaturgy.
Since 2018 she collaborates as dancer and maker for the companies Cats&Snails (France) and Chiasma (Italy).
