Sotterraneo is a theatre collective set up in Florence in 2005. Over the years, they produce several shows staged in major national and international theatres and are awarded with many awards (Lo Straniero prize, Premio Speciale Ubu, BeFestival First Prize, Premio Ubu as best show of the year for Overload and The Angel of History).
Sotterraneo is part of the Fies Factory project promoted by Centrale Fies, it’s resident company at Associazione Teatrale Pistoiese in Pistoia and it’s associated artist at Piccolo Teatro di Milano.
