YoY is a young collective born in 2020, consisting of Emma Zani and Roberto Doveri. (dancers and choreographers) and Timoteo Carbone (composer). A project that combines dance, music and contemporary art, in search of contamination and new forms of expression. YoY defines itself as a cultural organism with a common goal: to share ideas.
With the “Meraki” project he participates in 2021 in various festivals including the Face Off Festival in Grosseto, the Effetto 48 Festival in Panicale (PG) and the Nutida Festival in Scandicci.
“Meraki” is also represented in Brescia during the important Meccaniche della Meraviglia contemporary art festival.
In 2022 the work “Fiori Assenti” is presented at the Fuori Formato Festival in Genoa, the Nutida Festival in Scandicci (FI) and the RAAA Festival in Brescia.
YoY also participates in the Foligno Dance Festival with “Meraki”.
With a project conceived by Timoteo Carbone, YoY presents “Sounds in an abandoned space III” at the Festival Fabbrica Europa (FI) and at the Festival Nutida.
Also in 2022 he was selected to participate in the cultural enhancement project of the Royal Palace of Caserta where he presented for the first time the three chapters of the project “Dialogues with art”. In the same year, they got a commission for the creation of original music and choreography for documentary film LVMH/Masoni SpA.
It was selected among the four winning projects of Anghiari Dance Hub 2022 and debuts at the Theater of Anghiari with the creation INESORABILMENTEUNAVIA.
