Elisa D’Amico and Francesco Dalmasso met during their studies at ArtEZ School of Dance (NL).
They work as freelance dancers and performers in Italy and Europe for companies, projects and museums.
They are part of the organization of the sharing training platform shared training torino and of the curatorial team of the project Workspace Ricerca X.
Since 2014 they are developing a collaborative artistic practice, working on research projects and productions, which they direct in different formats. Starting from a specific object of interest, persisting as such in a long range perspective, they articulate thoughts, choreographic discourses, relational bodies and dances. They consider the creative processes they go through as plural and articulated experiences, as a place for inviting guests, collaborators and interlocutors, and for taking into account the use of different tools, the compresence of different layers, the interaction between different materials and media.
They are associated artists of Compagnia Zerogrammi.
Among their collaborations: // Couchscore (web performance, 2015-18) together with Alessio Mazzaro, Virgolette (performance, 2018-2019, winning project of PERMUTAZIONI – choreographic coworking curated by Casa Luft, Zerogrammi and Fondazione
Piemonte dal Vivo), Scoreographies – a project on scores in dance (interactive scores, dances, videocalls, texts, audio recordings, projections, performances, 2018 – ongoing), TOWARDS (site-specific performance, 2021-ongoing).
